Tea Set - Artifacts

Description
White Porcelain Tea Set including Tea Pot with lid, four cups with handles and saucers, eight handless cups in two sizes. A: Tea Pot, H: 10.125", Dia: 6", Globe shaped with spout on one side, and two flanges with holes on either side of the top through which bamboo handle is fastened by two wire rings and fine decorative bamboo strands. A depressed ledge on the top holds the lid. A white glaze is missing on one side of the interior of the pot. On the bottom "Uno" is written in black felt pen. B: Tea pot lid, H; 2", Dia: 3.25", convex top with small steam hole and ball shaped knob in center. Circular flange underneath the rim is recessed to fit into the top of the tea pot. Beneath the rim is unglazed. C - F: Four western style tea cups, H: 2.5", Dia: 3.75", Cups are round shaped with narrow bottom and wide rim. Small curved handle on one side . C & D have gold printing on bottom, "Summer Snow, Japan, Fine China", with three triangles in the middle. G - J: Four western style saucers to go with the four cups with handles. Dia: 5.75", Round shape with depression in middle top and ring shaped foot on bottom. G & H have gold printing on bottom, "Summer Snow, Japan, Fine China", with three triangles in the middle. K - N: Four handless cups H: 3.25", Dia: 2.5", Straight sides slightly wider at the rim, rounded near bottom, ring shaped pedistal on bottom. O - R: Smaller handless cups.H: 2.75", Dia: 2.375", Straight sided cups wider at the rim, tapering to the bottom, ring shaped pedistal around bottom edge.
