Fan, display - Artifacts

Description
Large Decorative Fan Folding fan has dark brown stained bamboo spokes held together by metal rivet. Upper portion is covered with silk on the front and paper on the back with the spokes sandwiched between. The silk has a painting of two pine trees with brown trunks and blue and black needles, positioned on either side of two birds with brown heads, white and pink bodies, red wings ending in blue feathers and red feathered crowns, red and yellow beaks, red feet. and white eyes. The bird on the right has long tail feathers. Below them is green and grey rock . Kanji on right hand side and three red seals. The top edge is protected with black paper. On the back is fastened two red silk cord ties. possibly hangers. The back has been repaired with masking tape and straping tape in three places. There are a couple splits.
