Description
Bamboo wall hanging Vase Vase is made of a large bamboo stalk that is light yellowish color with mottled brown spots. It has been cut so that the very bottom is closed with a node and has the remains of cut roots on the outside. Another node in the middle which forms the bottom of the cavity where the flowers are placed. Near the top a section of bamboo has been removed about two - thirds of the way around. Above the opening a ring of bamboo has been left intact. Through the solid piece at the back a key hole shape has been cut so that the vase can be hung on a hook from the wall. The inside of the vessel has been lined with green flecked plastic. The vase is designed so the flower arranger can create the appearence of two tiers. On the back above the hanging hole is written in black felt pen, "Uno". Made in Japan.
