Description
Hanging scroll Sumi calligraphy on white paper with pale green silk brocade border with strips of stamped gold on white material at top and bottom of paper, at very top and bottom are bands of cream color weft faced woven cloth, at the bottom the paper is rolled around a 7/8" plastic rod, top is rolled around a half round wood rod, on upper back has light blue paper lining , woven flat braid of green, black chevrons on white ground tied between brass loops screwed into dowel, another long braid is tied to the center of cross braid for hanging. Calligraphy: "Senke Shoshin Gakuin" (flower arrangement academy), written on year of Showa snake and bird at new spring (New Year) by Kamodo (artistic name), two square red seals, one negative "Toda-no-in" , one positive "Kamodo".
