Nageire style wood vase for Ikebana flower arranging Tall cylindrical section of cherry tree trunk with 7 branch nodes and varnish on bark, flat top painted black, hollow with copper insert has a brown painted kenzan needle flower holder adhered to bottom, two deep cracks near rim, bark is separating from interior wood, at bottom an extension "toe" appears to be part of the root; bottom is painted black with a deep hole drilled in the center, donor's name "Uno" written in black felt pen.
