Tree slice (cross-section) used as a base for Ikebana flower arranging. Irregular oval shape with flat top stained in a slight yellow color with varnished finish. Side edges are angle out towards the bottom and are lacquered dark brown. The bottom is stained a light reddish-brown color and is unvarnished. A Y-shaped crack on the bottom forms part of a knot. The owner's name, "Uno" is written on the bottom in black felt pen.
