Bamboo dai base used for Ikebana flower arranging. Rectangular base is made of eleven bamboo rods tied together into a flat rectangle with black plastic covered wire. Every second rod is off-set. Color ranges from light to dark brown. The donor's name "Uno" is written in black ink on the bottom and also in blue ink on white adhesive tape, "P.A. Uno/ P.A. 3-2214".
