Dai Base - Artifacts

Description
Small bamboo dai base used for Ikebana flower arranging. Rectangular base is made of fourteen thin bamboo rods tied together into a flat rectangle with reed and wire which appears to go through holes pierced in the bamboo. The rods are off-set in two groups of seven rods. Color ranges from light to dark brown. The donor's name "Uno" is written in black ink on the bottom and also written in black ink on scotch tape.
