1997.43.2A-P A hardboard box (L:1.18", W:0.87", H:2.8"). outer surface is wrapped floral paper, and a pink or green label is adhered to the mikkle of the box. Inner surface is wrapped by red paper. In each box, there are one medicine oil bottle (L:o.55", W:0.35", H:2.36"), one patent statement (L:3.35, W:2.13), and one prescription sheet (L:12.2", W:9.89"). There are nine boxes have a pink label on them(A-I), and seven boxes have a green label on them(J-P), but twoof the green boxes (O-P)do not have medicine oil bottle. The same pink label is adhered to the medicine oil glass bottle. The opening is sealed by silver metal foil paper. Inside the bottle is dark brown oil. The patent statement paper has purple-like color, and is rolled with the prescription paper. The prescription sheet is yellowed and has some small cracks on the folding creases. Name of the drug store: Man Chun Yuen (China). Name of the medicine oil: Nutmegs and Cradamon Oil. Usages and functions: For climatic illness, external wounds, etc.. The oil can be taken with tea, or be smeared on the wounded areas. 1997.43.2Ri-ii (2 pieces) A broken hardboard box (L:5.12", W:4.88", H:2.91") that is used as a container for the nutmegs and cradamon oil. The whole box is wrapped by thin yellowed paper, and floral paper is adhered to the outer surfaces of the remained three sides. One side on the 2Ri has a red label with the names of the drug store and the medicine oil, and there is a 3.93" crack on the lower edge that connects to the bottom side. There are two characters written in ink on this side. The black frame of the label is blurred. The other side of 2Ri has a big permeating-like stain on the upper side, and two paper loops insert in the hardboard. Along the edges, the thin wrapped paper is broken. 2Rii is a broken side from 2Ri, and it has a red frame on the inner upper edge. The paper along the edges is broken and a little fuzzy.
