Description
1997.43.3Ai A rolling, folking prescription is wrapped by multicolored paper (D:1". H: 2.72"), and cannot be separated. The prescription is yellowed and is printed in black. The wrapping paper has the medicine manufacturer's picture and a statement of changing package from 1922, and a few statements of function. This medicine can be used by everybody, including pregnant women, but children only can take half of the quantity of that for adults. This medicine can cure 72 illness as plague, cholera, tuberculosis, and cramp, etc.. 1997.43.3Aii A small glass bottle (D:0.71", H:1.97") with a cork and two attached paper labels. Inside the bottle are some black-brown deposites. The cork is broken and part of it is stuck on the broken label, which should be acrossed the opening part fo the bottle. This label is a seal with official admission. Another white paper with blue prints. The upper edge has several tears, and there are foxes on the whole paper. The bottom of the bottle carved the name of the manufacturer. 1997.43.3B The print on the wrapped paper is the clearest one among four sets (A-D), and there is a blurred black stamp "ALCOHOL PERCENT BY v c3A MADE IN CHINA." The opening of the bottle is well sealed. 1997.43.3C There are two main tears on the wrapped paper. The sealing label of the bottle's opening is broken, and the cork has many nicks, and there are grims around the opening. 1997.43.3D The seal of the bottle's opening is a little torned, but the cork remains well. Some tears on the wrapped paper and the edges of inside sheets.
