Weaving Tool (?) - Artifacts

Description
Metal tool with hook end and wood handle. The tool has a straight, flat narrow strip of metal which curves slightly at the end and has a knotch toward the tip. The knotch seems likely to have been used for lifting threads in a weaving or sewing capacity. The wood handle is painted black and the "blade" is inserted into the wood core with is trimmed with a silver metal band. The blade is rusty.
