Twelve Books containing information on watch repair A: Hardcover brown book, H: 8.75", W: 6", D: 1.875", Front embossed with floral border design and " Watch and Clock Maker's Handbook-Dictionary and Guide, Britten" this is repeated in gold on the spine and at the bottom of the spine "Spon". Inside the front cover is black stamp - "Bow Wah Company, 672 King Street, Seattle 4, Wash." This 14th edition is published in London by the E & FN Spon, 57 Haymarket SW1, and in New York by the Chemical Publishing Coy. Of N.Y.Inc., 148 Lafayette St. 1938. B: Blue hardcover book, H: 9.25", W: 6.125", D: .5", printed on front cover in blue is a diagram of Watch wheels and "Complicated watches". Inside the front cover are two Chinese characters stamped inblack and "Bow Wah Company, 672 King Street, Seattle 4, Wash." There is also a green, white and black square sticker with "The H & H Horological Supply Co., HAGCO, Denver, Colorado" the book is compiled by Seibel and Hagans and printed in the US by the Roberts Publishing Co. Denver, Colorado, Copyright 1945. C: Black soft covered book bound with plastic black rings. H: 8.875", W: 6.25", D: .75".The front cover is embsossed with a silver circular design and "Better Watch Repairing - Faster!, Authors LM Lewis and Max E. Lee". The manuel is not dated and some of the text appears to have been typewritten. Black stamp in front and back inside "Bow Wah Company, 672 King Street, Seattle 4, Wash.". D: Turquoise hardcover book with black printing on front and spine and a drawing of a cloth within a bell jar. The book has green, white and black paper dustcover which repeats the printing on the cover. "The Horolovar Four Hundred - Day Clock Repair Guide By Charles Terwilliger. The first edition July, 1953, and the book copyrighted 1959 by Horolovar Co. Box 299, Bronxville, New York. H: 10.375", W: 7.25", D: .75". Ei: Yellow soft cover book with blue cloth binding.H: 12", W: 9", D: .25" On the front is a blue oval containing stars and wrapped with laurel shaped leaves and "Waltham First American Watch Since 1850, Watch and Clock Material * 1948 Edition* Waltham Watch Company, Waltham 54, Massachusetts, USA". Inside is a black stamp "Bow Wah Company, 672 King Street, Seattle 4, Wash." Eii: Yellow folded paper with "Material Price List to the Retailer and Watchmaker Feb., 1948" Eiii: White paper printed in black on one side "Material Jobbers List, 1948, Domestic and Canadian" Eiv: Letter on Waltham Watch Co. letterhead March 12, 1948, to the Bow Wah Co. Appears to be form letter sent out with the catalogue. F: Bright blue soft cover ring binder with gold printing on front and spine, "Elgin Service Manual". Inner pages in black and blue have three holes and are separated with four cardstock dividers. Inside stamped with "Bow Wah Company, 672 King Street, Seattle 4, Wash.", copyrighted 1958. H: 9.125", W: 7.125", D: 1.25". G: Wine colored soft colored three ring binder with gold printing on front and spine "Elgin Genuine Material, Only Elgin Watches have the DuraPower Mainspring". There is also a crest on the front cover. Pages have three holes and are separated by dividers which have model numbers on them. They are printed by the "Material Department Elgin National Watch Co. Elgin Illinois." Stamped with "Bow Wah Company, 672 King Street, Seattle 4, Wash." on the first page. H: 11.5", W: 9.875", D: 1.5". H: Wine colored soft colored three ring binder with gold printing on front and spine "Elgin Service Bulletin, Only Elgin Watches have the DuraPower Mainspring". There is also a crest on the front cover. Pages have three holes and are separated by red dividers which have model numbers on them. They are printed by the "Material Department Elgin National Watch Co. Elgin Illinois." Stamped with "Bow Wah Company, 672 King Street, Seattle 4, Wash." on the first page. H: 11.5", W: 9.875", D: 1.5". Ii: Blue hard cover three ring binder with masking tape on the front and written in black ink "Hamilton Technical Bulletin 1948". Stamped on the inside cover - "Bow Wah Company, 672 King Street, Seattle 4, Wash.". Contains pages dated 1955 from Edauchas Co. in Switzerland." Service bulletin from the Hamilton Watch Co in Lancaster Penn and some hand written and typewritten pages of instruction with diagams in pencil. The last page is a letter from the Hamilton watch Co. dated March 12, 1948 which accompanied the technical literature sheets. H: 11.5", W: 10", D: 1.25". Iii & iii: Two copies of paper booklet with black printing "Practical Modern Watch Making-Educational bulletins, by the Horological Institute of America by HL Deehler." Published by the Horological Institute of America Washington DC. Stamped in red ink is "Bow Wah Company, 672 King Street, Seattle 4, Wash.". J: Orange and white pamphlet "the H.I.A. Journal, Official Publication of the Horological Institiute of America, September, 1952." With a photograph of a watch showing world time zones on the front. On the front is stamped "Bow Wah Company, 672 King Street, Seattle 4, Wash." and on the back is typewritten "Lester Chinn 672 King St. Seattle 4, Washington." 9" X 6". Ki & ii: Two pamphlets printed in black "Cylopedia of Valuebel Information for Jewler, Watchmaker, Optician. Privately printed for the trade. Price 2.50, by Nelson Hall, Publishers, 321 S. Wabash Ave. Chicago." Ki: Written in ink on the front "Lester Chin 1949".Stamped on the front are two Chinese characters and "Bow Wah Company, 672 King Street, Seattle 4, Wash." Kii: Written in ink on the front "Your Instructor Wm. ?? Fickeisen, 1949" Stamped on the front are two Chinese characters.and "Bow Wah Company, 672 King Street, Seattle 4, Wash.". L: Three copies of letter head paper 8.5" X 11", black printing at the top "Bow Wah Company" and then to wsets of double lines and in between the lines "CHINESE JEWWLRY - JADES - CURIOS - LUGGAGE - ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES" and then the address: "Phone SEneca 1467, 672 King Street, Seattle 4, Wash." in the upper right hand corner.
