Kimono - Artifacts

Description
Women's Lined Kimono Peach colored silk damask with woven in design of floral medallions. Yuzen-zome dyeing of scattered hexagon shaped rectangles in white, light green, red and pink which frame different styles plum and cherry blossoms in pink, white, red, yellow, and green. Outside these hexagons are other shapes and floral designs in the same colors. The kimono has long sleeves appropriate for a young woman. There is an opening near the body and the outside corner is rounded. The collar extends three - quarters of the way down the kimono and has a reinforced section around the neck. It is lined with white silk and the upper body red silk in the sleeves, and red cotton at the bottom.
