Yukata - Artifacts

Description
Child's Cotton Yukata the robe is made of blue and white cotton squares sewn together to form a long body and short sleeves. The collar is a long straight band extending to the hem. And is reinforced with another piece o f material around the neck line. There is an inner yolk facing.The motifs include: dark blue stripped flower on a gridded white back ground; blue and white wave medallions on a blue and white stripped back ground; a white leafy vine design interspersed with white dots on a blue back ground; white and blue positive/negative wisteria design on a blue stripped white back ground; a large blue hemp leaf on a white background which is then reversed to appear white on blue; White leaf design appearing beneath a blue and white grid on a blue background; Dark blue pinks with leaves on a blue stripped white back ground; White and blue pinks on a white and blue stripped back ground; white pinks and blues with a white grid on a blue back ground; white wisteria and grid on a blue back ground. The sleeves have four different fabrics including a large white flower with a pine bark motif and dots on a blue background. A large pine bark shape containing blue petals and grid on a white background contrasting with a dark blue area. Large semi - circles containing blue and white balloon flowers and grass on a white background surrounding white dots on a blue background. Another semi circle has blue outlined flowers and leaves on a blue background next to a large dark blue area; a pine bark outline of blue contains a gridded flower design of blue on white on two different scales. The upper collar ahs blue and white clover on top of a white and blue stripped background. The lower collar has blue and white morning glory designs.
