The front and back covers are beige paper. On the front is an embossed red seal in the lower right corner. On the title page is the signature of the author in black felt pen. The title page reads: "Maxie Hong Kingston _ China Men." there is a large negative seal stamp below this. This is a first edition printing. B: Dust jacket is white glossy paper with the title in red down the right side. The authors name is in black in the upper left. There is an illustration of a dragon between "China" and "Men". The title, author, and publisher are printed on the spine. The back is a black and white photograph of the author. There are mildew stains on the inside of the dust jacket and the back of the book.
