A: The statue is standing and her hair is piled up on her head and in her right hand she holds a fan in front of her chest. Her left hand is held down and out to the left. A long flowing scarf hangsa round her neck and down to the ground. She stands on a pedestal made of an darker different type of stone and it has been shellaced. B: The box is made of wood. It is covered inside and out with a gold and orange damask cloth. The bottom of the box and of the lid are covered with black and red paper. The inside of the box has a well made of wood and it is padded and covered with yellow satin silk. The statue fits into the well. the box opens on the top by sliding the cover off to one side. CD: The lid is made up of two pieces. The upper piece is a single rectangle of wood covered with the same damask cloth and it sits on top of a piece of glass which has a raised piece of wood on one end. this piece with the other on top slides into the box.
