Long-sleeved, brown silk men's smoking jacket with quilted collar and cuffs. The jacket has a front opening with no buttons or closures. The shawl collar and cuffs are done in fabric quilted in a grid design. There are patch pockets on the right and left lower front. The top of the pockets are trimmed in quilted fabric. The damask is patterned with pine trees, buildings, person rowing boat, flowers, person carrying umbrella, rickshaws with people, and fences. It is lined in brown silk satin. Condition is fair due to frayed neckline, collar, sleeves, and back hem.
