Shoes - Artifacts

Description
Black silk satin shoes with blue cotton lining, ivory colored leather inner sole. A single row of leather piping runs up the heel of the shoe, a double row runs up the toe. The outer sole is made of three layers of pigskin stitched together with small stitches at 1/4" spacing latterly 3/8" spacing longitudinally. A single row of stitches goes around the perimetr of the sole under the outer sole is a layer of crepe rubber. Around the opening of the shoe is a welt of black satin with three rows of stitching. The lower part of the toe of the show's upper is reinforced by many fine stitches.
