Pendant - Artifacts
Description
Silver ornament in the shape of a fruit basket, symbol of abundance. A chain with a loop is attached to the basket's handle, the basket itself contains a large flower, probably an iris, and some other vegetation. The basket is decorated with an incised floral design, and on the bottom a loop is attached from which hangs a small coral bead, a large green jade or glass bead, and a silver end. The four loops around the sids of the basket have lost their beads. Again this ornament would be worn to insure good fortune and prosperity.
