Chinese embroidery sample of maroon silk dambk field with embroidery of satim stitch, the motif is of 2 greese, one gray with black beak, tops of wings and tail. The wings are of various shaded of gray, silver, and white. The head is a dark gray with a pink and black eye. This goose is floating on the water. The other goose is all white with peach colored foot and beak. The eye is of pink and black. This goose is standing on one foot with the other up in the air. Various colored lines of chain stitch are resembling water. Green lotus and water lilies are mixed with multi-blue flowers. One of the blue flowers resembles a blue lotus and the other two are 1/2" round with yellow and black plka pots in the center.
