Early Showa Period (1926-1989) Meisen silk kosode kimono of abstract design Furisode kimono with red, black and white abstracted flower ikat design. Cross hatching and stripes on some white portions and some red portions of the design. Kimono body top lining is white silk and lower lining is pink silk crepe. Sleeve lining is red silk with banding of same pink crepe. Meisen: reeled silk, comparatively rough and strong kosode: short sleeve kimono
