28 ribbed, black folding paper fan with black bamboo frame, Chinese. The front of the fan has an iris plant and two flying insects painted in silver on the left half, and rows of silver calligraphy painted on the right side. A red "chop" on far right corner and near the middle of the fan, a tiny red box with a smaller silver box has been printed on the fan with an "X" scored upon the silver box showing the red ink beneath. The back of the fan has rows of silver calligraphy painted upon it with 4 large calligraphy letters in the middle. The artist's chop has been imprinted in red at the far right corner.
