Holds a brush in the right hand (a stick with black tip upside down). Kiri wood base is covered on top with rectangles of red and gray speckled papers. In front of the doll is a cloud motif white and blue writing paper. Tsuzuri ink stone is glued to the base on the doll's right side. Finish is chipped off right thumb, cracks in head at crown and back and gofun is chipped on left forehead.
