Miniature Banner on Pole Banner, H: 19", W: 5.625", Pole, L: 17.625", Diam: .25" White weft-faced silk made of two panels joined at center by hand and lower portion has a slit; half way up is a black horizontal stripe, above this in black ink kanji "Hachiman dai bosatsu", below the band is a black mon with two crossed feathers inside a black ring; black cotton channel at top stitched with white silk thread holds a dowel inside. Banner is attached to pole by a purple braided cord. Pole is round and straight, painted red, at ends and six intervals pole is wrapped with rattan edged with black. Top finial is missing
