Silver-colored metal key embossed at top on one side with "Master Lock Co." and "Milwaukee Wis. U.S.A." on the other side. The key is attached to a thick paper tag by a piece of string. The string is knotted to form a loop; the ends of the string are slightly frayed. The tag has Chinese characters written on it in black ink (six on each side). Each side also has two lines in pencil at approximately right angles separating the characters into three sections. The tag has been bent and curves at the middle. The upper corners of the tag are also cut at a diagonal.
