Description
Pair of sandals (Okobo or Pukuri) for young girl for dressy occasions A,B: Made of wood with upper sole of tatami woven reed, stuffed brocade hanao straps in peach background with plum blossoms in white, gold and grey blue goes through holes in sole and attached with fiber and metal fastener, side of sole is red lacquer with gold flying cranes and gold painted pine branches (symbols of good fortune), wood sole is shaped and painted red with hole painted black near back; label indicates Mitsukoshi Department store in Tokyo A has damage on back of heel where lacquer is peeling off.
