Description
Mobile of Folk Toys Six black painted wood dowels ranging from 3" to 8" long are joined with light weight mono filament. A brass ring is attached to the top. Hanging from the dowels are 7 miniature folk toys. They are: Kokeshi Doll, 2.25" tall, carved of wood and painted with a yellow conical hat, white scarf with green coard, black, grey and red facial features. orange jacket, white and yellow striped green pants. Paper mache cow, Aka - beko, 3.125" long, with a bobing head which is unattached, painted red with black, gold and white details, two horns protrude from the head. Tamari yarn ball: 1.25" dia. Wrapped with red cloth covered yellow, green, and pink silk yarn creating a floral pattern. Red painted wooden dish possibly for sake. Black painted carved wood badger with two round ears painted red, painted yellow and white eyes and nose,red mouth, white collar, pink paws with yellow claws. White painted wood sake bottle with a cork-shaped top and black kanji on the front. Black painted wooden horse, Miharu - Goma, painted orange, briddle and other details, white nose and bit, blue saddle, yellow black and orange saddle blanket, black fiber tufts extend from the head as a mane and from the back as a tail. The mobile is stored in a cardboard box which has dividers for each item and a cardboard lid, covered with decorative paper. On one end is stamped 1 - 7.
