furoshiki - Artifacts

Description
On natural fiber, black and white prints of Japanese warriors on horseback, on their knees or sitting on stools with their weapons. In black circles are "X" marks, or a group of four diamond shapes are horizontally arranged while some of these motifs are scattered throughout the piece. At the left side, a black inscription reads: "Ghengis Khan Ane Lusive Schumacher HAND PRINT". The material appears to be loosely woven silk. The two dsides are machine stitched. The piece is in good condition.
