This tenugui in indigo is not hemmed at the left and right edges. The design is in a wax resist method of 5 faces of KOKESHI in red white and black. Each face has differnt styles of painted faces and headwear. There is a motif of a KOKESHI in brown and white at the top right corner. Writing in white that reads "KOKESHI" and the insigna of the artist are at the bottom left corner of the piece.
