Wooden Tubs - Artifacts

Description
2 Wooden slatted tapered Tubs with handles A: H: 14.375", Dia: 17.125" Wooden bottomed tub with side boards grooved to accommodate bottom. Sides flair out and are held in place by 2 metal bands, one along the bottom of the tub and one around the middle. A thin metal strip runs along the top 1" from the lip. Wire handles with wooden grips are attached to the metal strip and rest inside grooves in the side of the tub. The handle grips are tapered for fingers. A paper label on one side reads: "Edible Beef Tallow - Net Weight 6 lbs. - Seattle Packing Co., Seattle, Washington, U.S.A. - A U.S.D.A. inspection logo is in the center. B: H: 14.25", Dia: 20" Wooden tub larger than A but constructed the same way except it has metal rings around it. The handle grips have an extra groove in the middle.
