Description
Set of 2 ceramic vases, white speckled glaze on purpley brown background A: Shallow style (moribana) vase with round tray like top with slightly flaring sides on a pedestal which is wider at the bottom, top part of outside rim has engraved horizontal lines and vertical lines below. Inside bottom of pedestal is brown and shows donor's name "Uno" in black, name of work "Kozan" (shining mountain) and the number 103 is imprinted into the bottom unglazed edge. Needle pointed kenzan is attached to inside bottom. B: Tall style vase has rounded top sides with flared pedestal having 5 engraved horizontal lines, pockmarked, needle pointed kenzan is stuck to inside bottom with green florist paste
