Vase - Artifacts

Description
Shell-shaped cast brass (?) shallow vase used for moribana. Cast in the form of the bottom portion of a clam shell with wavey edges curving upward on one side and a flat area ressembling the bivalve hinge on the other ; with gold colored finish on the bottom and darker metallic finish on the inside and in the random groove patterns on the exterior. The interior shows lines and two nodules, all marks left by the mold. The bottom is flat and written on it in black felt pen is the donor's name, "Uno".
