Description
1997.43.34A~C (Condition:Fair) A small white rectangular box (L:1.1", W:0.79", H:2.6"). Inside the box there is another hardboard layer, and inside the layer are one folded, rolled paper and a bottle with a cork inserted inthe middle of paper. The paper and the bottle cannot be taken out. On the surface of the box, there are three labels adhered to the surface. One is on the cap, and it has red, black, and green colors, but the white background color becomes yellowish. The characters on it are the name and the location of the drug store. Another label is a black-white label adhered to the connection area of the box. The characters also says the name and the location of the drug store and the medicine. Another black-white label is adhered to the lower part of the box, and it states three different costs of three amount of the medicine oil. The black-white label adgered to the connect part is torn. The medicine is from Guang Dong province, China. The white box is now yellowish. The rolled and folded paper inside the box is green in 1997.43.34C. 1997.43.34D (Condition:Poor) A brown, broken, uncompleted medicine prescription (L:10.75", W:6.46"). There are some stains on it. This prescrition states the functions and usage of a medicinal oil, which is the same as 1997.43.34A~C. Functions: adominal aches, asthma, nomit, cholera, apoplexy, acute infantile convulsion, chronic infantile convulsion, phlegm, spasm, cough, sunstroke, and skin itches. Usage: take five drops every half an hour with tea. Children take half amount dose as that for adults. The oil can be used as embrocation, too.
