Brown feather fan with horn handle. Ten feathers (possibly goose) are attached to the handle with a loop of thick copper or brass wire. The bottoms are further secured with an additional silver-colored wired and knotted quill. There is a white paper label with blue characters at the top of the handle. The translation is "Guangzhou (Canton), Kuang Yuan Ward, A Happen Omen [or a good luck object or auspicious object for happiness].
