Description
14 Cardboard boxes each with ten white powdered wax pills and two papers of instructions. The lidded rectangular cardboard box is covered with yellow paper that has a green honeycomb and red swastika design. On top and one end are red labels with black Chinese character printing. The label on top is also stamped with English "Man Chung Yung Co. China". On the front edge of the lid are two red paper loops which hold white bone tabs which insert into two red paper loops in front of box acting as a closure. Inside the box are ten green wax balls covered in white powder. They are packed in cotton batting and are surrounded by one large paper with black printed Chinese characters and floral borders. A very small mauve paper is printed with a crest and black Chinese characters. A - J: Ten boxes tied together with red cotton string. K: One box tied with red cotton string. L: One box with one end missing M: One box with lid detached. N: One box intact. This is patent medicine mainly for children's illnesses.
