Patent Medicine - Artifacts

Two packages, one large containing three smaller packages and one small containing ten wax pills wrapped in paper. A: Large yellowish colored paper wrapped diagonally around three sealed packages. On one end are Chinese characters written in black ink. The three sealed packages are wrapped in beige paper with a red stamp showing an illustration of a pot and Chinese characters. "China" is stamped in red ink on one side. On one end are two Chinese characters written in blue ink. On one side are Chinese characters written in black ink. The packages appear to have printed instructions on the inside. B: Ten beeswax balls with a knob on one end and a red stamp on one side. Wrapped in white paper with the same red stamps and Chinese characters on one end and side. The pills and paper are then wrapped in four copies of yellowed instruction sheet with black and red Chinese characters stamped on them. Patent medicine: Ning Kuen Uan, pills for gynecological and obstetrical diseases.
