Underclothing - Artifacts

Description
Young women's Nagajuban Under robe Kimono White cotton body has tucks at the shoulder and a front yolk, the lower section of the body is red cotton with a deep hem. There are red cotton front extensions for overlapping and a straight band collar extending halfway down the robe. It is covered around the neck line with a light pink cotton strip. Very long sleeves are attached to the body at the shoulders. They are made of a printed fabric with an alternating orange cloud and purple and green floral motif. Inside the orange clouds are printed white alternating leaf and Buddhist knot designs. The flowers are mostly different varieties of chrysanthemum. The nagajuban is machine stitched in crude fashion.
