Kimono - Artifacts

Description
Nagajuban Under Kimono for a Young Woman Red silk with a printed design of fan shapes kiri leaves, bell flowers, plum blossoms, wisteria, and hexagonal tortoise shell shapes containing other motifs. There are gosho style doll figures scattered among the other motifs which cover the whole kimono. Motifs are red, pink, blue, yellow, orange and white. Sleeves are long and open near the body. They have been turned up and tacked in place to make them shorter. There is an over collar made of white synthetic fabric with a raised design and a stiffener has been inserted in between. The body of the kimono has been lined with red silk and the sleeves are lined with a self fabric. The kimono is stained in two places on the front.
