Evacuation of the Puyallup Assembly Center began with an advance party of 200 leaving to help set up the Minidoka Relocation Center where the Puyallup Center evacuees will be moved to. Once the camp is readied, trainloads of 500 per day will leave for the Minidoka Center until all of the Puyallup Assembly Center is emptied.
