Summary
Huang Li Zhou (1610- 1695) was a Confucian scholar at the beginning of the Qing Dynasty. Huang fought for years along Ming claimants on the east coast. After he retired to a life of scholarship in 1649 he wrote biographies of Ming figures and analyized the structure of government, suggesting a less structured organization of scholars.
