Cantonese opera story The story concerns the daughter of a retired Minister. After moving back to his home village he passes awaya nd his wife also becomes ill. The daughter searches for a cure and is told in a dream about the Everblooming Lotus and where to get it. There she meets a young scholar who helps her get the plant and asks her to marry him.
