Reminiscences of Chiang Kai-shek by General Feng Yuxiang (1882-1948), "a warlord during Republican China. He was also known as the Christian General, being a convert to Methodism; or the Betraying General for having changed side during the Second Zhili?Fengtian War in 1924" (Wikipedia). Feng become one of Chiang's "sworn brothers" in 1928, but later became critical of him and his government.
