Summary
Taken from the book: Chinese American Portraits, Personal Histories 1828-1988. Gee-Hee Chin came to the United States as a laborer but quickly became a labor broker for Wah Chong Company, produced what is believed to have been the first Chinese baby born in the NW, opened the Quong Tuck Company which built the first new brick building in Seattle after the 1889 fire and financed and built the Sun Ning Railroad in Toishan, China.
