Summary
In 1947, Japanese American basketball player Wat Misaka was the first person of color to be drafted into the NBA. Overcoming discrimination towards Nisei during World War II, he was a star player at the University of Utah in 1944 and 1947, taking two years off in between to serve in the U.S. Army ... The film has video clips from Wat's college games and his triumphant career, as well as rare footage of the Topaz Internment Camp.
