Description
Black "Fabricoid" album of Japanese-American photographs. Album with decoration of shaded orange fushias with yellow-green leaves. The word "ALBUM" is printed in the lower right-hand corner with black cord and tassle on left-hand side. First page inside front and back pages are mottled greige color. Photos portray a Seattle baseball team's trip to Japan in Sept. 1936. Taiyo Kengakudan meaning Taiyo is name of baseball team and kengakudan is tour. Donor's brother Norio Ray Hara and father Seiichi sailed on the Hikawa Maru. Photos of Nara, Kyoto, Nagoya Castle, Osaka, Tokyo, photos of friends, Mt. , Aso, ceremonies before game, Nagoya Castle, Prince Mori's residence, Nikko, people and places where entertained, baseball teams they played, menu from Motomachi Daimaru signed by friends.
