Description
Twelve black and white contact prints arranged in three vertical and four horizontal rows. Each print shows Charles Leong, seated at a table. He wears a collar shirt with a grid print and a suit jacket. Behind him are three cards, each with a single Chinese character, adhered in a vertical row to the wall. In the images in the left column and the lower half of the middle column, Leong holds a pair of glasses in his left hand and points to a card held in his right hand. In the images in the right column and the top half of the middle column, he hears his glasses and poses in various positions. These prints were taken in conjunction with the 1961 film, "Chinese Brush Strokes," produced by Martin Moyer Productions, Seattle. The film was made in collaboration by Richard E. Fuller, Fay Chong and Charles Leong.
