Description
Black and white photograph of Fay Chong's hands while painting. Chong's right hand holds an inked brush. Chong paints a single Chinese character on a flat piece of paper. In the upper right corner are an egg, four brushes, two ink sticks, a flat container and a gourd-shaped container with a narrow opening. This photograph was taken in conjunction with the 1961 film, "Chinese Brush Strokes," produced by Martin Moyer Productions, Seattle. The film was made in collaboration by Richard E. Fuller, Fay Chong and Charles Leong.
