Original caption: Sand Island, Honolulu. Pvt. Harry Koka of Ewa, Oahu, T.H., is awarded the Purple Heart by Col. Ernst T. Barco, CO, AP & SC. He was wounded while fighting with the famed 100th Infantry in the Italian Campaign. 6 June 1945.
