Why did YouthCAN receive one of 15 National Arts and Humanities Youth Program (NAHYP) Awards out of a pool of over 400 youth arts programs from across the country?
Join us for an NAHYP Awards Celebration and Opening Reception for YouthCAN’s latest exhibition, “From the Ground UP,” to find out. You’ll see the incredible art our high school students created which is why we’re being recognized, such as these LPs spray painted with personal crests:
Top left to right: Peter X., “UnNATURAL”; Yu An L, “Personal Crest I”.; Kimberly N.
Bottom left to right: Yu An L., “Personal Crest II”; Nikki Kaman, “Untitled”; Joanne L., “Untitled”

THIS IS FOR YOU JESSICA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You’re super awesome and the *whisper* best youth lead. LOL. Jennifer I LAB YOU!
Thanks for your crazy support and you’re awesome lovin’! Lol.
This is FOR KING LAU! (:
King is the most awesomest person in the whole world. Every discussion we have you’re always the one to put yourself out there. You always have something smart to say and on top of that you speak your mind. Even though you can be obnoxious underneath that you’re a honest and caring person. You’re always there for someone in this “YouthCAN” family whenever we have a problem and that makes you a super duper awesome person! Yup, anywho King, you’re awesome don’t you forget that.
This is for Suzanne ! xD

@ Joshua Heim,
Thanks for supporting all of us. Even though we don’t seem motivated to do much we enjoy having structure that you give us.
Thanks for being patient with us. And everything couldn’t be possible without you!
This is for Allan Mac!
Allan makes outstanding art work that can’t be paralleled with the other members, and has the charisma to stand in front of a crowd to give a few words!
Keep up the amazing works!
JONATHAN WAKUDA FISCHER
