Global Teen Leadership- Japan, Korea, China, & Latin America

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Extended to December 20, 2010!

The YMCA Teen Global Leadership program is an opportunity to immerse yourself in another culture, gain leadership skills, study a social issue and meet other teens in your global community! This program starts in January for a once in a lifetime journey!  Your trip group and two staff leaders will work together to make your 14-16 day trip an incredible experience by learning language, culture and history.

Trips include visiting historic and modern sites, home stays with local families, and community service activities planned by the hosting country’s YMCA. Financial aid is available to the extent possible and group fundraising opportunities will help make this opportunity a reality!  Teens and Parents are invited to attend an information meeting and workshop on holiday fundraising activities.

Destinations tentatively planned for 2011 are:
Kobe, Japan

Gwanju, South Korea
